Frequently Asked Questions
How do I become a library member, and how long is my registration valid?
An individual becomes a library user by completing and signing the application form and paying the registration fee in accordance with the price list directly at the TnUAD University Library. Registration is valid for TnUAD employees for the duration of their employment and for TnUAD students for the duration of their studies. For members of the general public, registration is renewed annually.
What if I take a break from my studies?
If you interrupt your studies or do not immediately begin a subsequent program, your library registration will expire, and therefore, any TnUAD student who interrupts their studies is required to settle any outstanding obligations with the library. If you return to your studies at a later date, your membership status will be reinstated. However, before making your first loan, you must visit the library in person to have your registration updated.
Can I continue to use the library's services after I graduate?
A TnUAD student who is completing their studies is required to settle any outstanding obligations with the library. Afterward, they may register as an external user and continue to use the library’s services in accordance with the Library Regulations.
How can I pay for the services I use?
Payment for registration, fee-based services, and fines can be made exclusively in cash directly at the TnUAD University Library. Payments for research services may also be made by bank transfer, subject to prior arrangement with library staff.
How do I renew my loan?
The loan period can be extended by using your personal reader account, in person, or by contacting library staff via email.
