V rámci Týždňa slovenských knižníc 2026 Vás pozývame na ďalší workshop z dielne Univerzitnej knižnice TNUAD, tentoraz venovaný práci s online nástrojom Prezi.
Na workshope sa pozrieme na pokročilejšie vytváranie nelineárnych prezentácií s použitím AI nástrojov, ktoré si zároveň prakticky vyskúšame. V prípade záujmu sa prosím prihláste prostredníctvom mailu barbora.ondrusova@tnuni.sk alebo kniznica@tnuni.sk

Workshop Citačné manažéry pre písanie seminárnych a záverečných prác
V rámci Týždňa slovenských knižníc 2026 Vás pozývame na workshop venovaný práci s citačnými manažérmi Zotero, RefWorks a Mendeley.
Na stretnutí si ukážeme základné funkcie týchto nástrojov, spôsob správy bibliografických záznamov, tvorbu citácií a ich prepojenie s textovým editorom. Workshop je určený pre všetkých, ktorí chcú zefektívniť prácu s odbornými zdrojmi a citovaním. The Week of Slovak Libraries 2026
The University Library of the Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín invites you to visit its premises on the occasion of the Week of Slovak Libraries 2026, which is held annually in March as a celebration of libraries as irreplaceable centers of education, science, and culture.
On this occasion, we are preparing a program of events aimed at supporting information literacy and presenting resources available to students, teachers, and researchers. This is an ideal opportunity to learn about what our library can offer – from professional databases to individual consultations.

Temporary change of opening hours
We would like to inform all our users of the temporary change of opening hours due to staff training on January 27 - 28, 2026.
The TnUAD University Library will be open on the following days:
• Tuesday, 27 January 2026: 8.00–13.00 h
• Wednesday, 28 January 2026: 10.30–16.00 h
Temporary change of opening hours
We would like to inform all our users about the temporary change of opening hours due to staff training on January 21 - 22, 2026.
The TnUAD University Library will be open on the following days:
on January 21, 2026, open 11:00 - 16:00 h,
on January 22, 2026, open 8:00 - 13:00 h.
Opening hours during the Christmas holidays
We would like to inform users of the TnUAD University Library that during the Christmas holidays, from 22nd December 2025 to 6th January 2026, the library will be CLOSED.
From Wednesday, 7th January 2026, the library will operate in the usual mode according to the currently valid opening hours.
We wish you all a peaceful Christmas holiday.
Change of opening hours
We would like to inform users of the University Library at TnUAD that, due to technical reasons, the library will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
From Thursday, December 18, 2025, the library will operate in normal mode according to the currently valid opening hours.

We would like to inform users of the University Library TnUAD that on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the library will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. due to technical reasons.
From Wednesday, November 5, 2025, the library will operate in normal mode according to the currently valid opening hours.
UK TnUAD in Trenčín is the organizer of the event - Modern techniques for creating presentations using AI tools, which will be held on November 11, 2025, as part of the Week of Science and Technology in Slovakia 2025.
During the workshop, you will learn not only about an unconventional tool for creating presentations, but also about designing your presentation (not only) with the help of AI, which is part of the PREZI interface.

Autumn seminars
The University Library of TnUAD continues its autumn information seminars for students of our university. Thanks to Associate Professor Ing Magdaléna Tupá, PhD., many more students were able to attend the information seminar on finding sources for their final theses directly at the FSEV. We are already looking forward to the next meetings.

New portal CREPČ/CREUČ
We would like to inform our researchers, teachers and doctoral students that from October 14, 2025, the operation of the old CREPČ/CREUČ portal with the address cms.crepc.sk will be definitively terminated .
All necessary information about CREPČ (legislation, manuals, news, contacts, contributors, etc.) will be available only on the new CREPČ portal - crepc.cvtisr.sk

During the entire month of October, the Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín will have trial access to Wiley's documents, namely access to the Current Protocols online collection, available to all students, employees and researchers.
What can you find in the Wiley Protocols?
The multidisciplinary Current Protocols collection contains more than 25,000 detailed techniques, procedures, and practical overviews that provide researchers with reliable and efficient methods to ensure reproducible results.

The Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín in Trenčín will officially open the 2025/2026 academic year on September 22, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Building C, Študentská 3.
Due to participation in the ceremonial opening of the new academic year, the TnUAD University Library will be closed on this day from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
