Premises


The following premises are located in the TnUAD University Library building: lending department, two study rooms - general and multimedia, Information and Scientific Center, archive of final theses and archive of journals and newspapers


The lending department is used for absentee check out and check in of materials (borrowing outside the library). It is located on the 1st floor on the right and accommodates a collection of books, including scripts and textbooks, as well as a collection of electronic materials on CDs and DVDs. There are 3 PCs in the lending department that can be used for searching in the online catalog, viewing materials on optical media, or looking up electronic resources in the online databases


The general study room may be used to preview or study materials that cannot be borrowed. This reference room is located on the 2nd floor on the right (opposite the multimedia study room) and stores a collection of periodicals (newspapers, magazines), anthologies, dictionaries and encyclopedias, that can be studied in the library (e.g. dictionaries and encyclopedias) and some can be even borrowed (selected anthologies and magazines). There is also a multifunctional device for copying and scanning the materials. 


The multimedia study room with 7 PCs is located on the 2nd floor on the left (opposite the general study room). In this room, library members can search for materials in the online catalog or electronic information resources in the online databases. There is also a book scanner, a multifunctional device for copying and printing materials, and a pleasant study corner with a view of the castle in this room. 


Finally, on the 3rd floor there are the premises of the Information and Scientific Center, the aim of which is to provide high-quality library and information services based on using electronic information resources. The premises of the Information and Scientific Center are used for information education lectures for TnUAD students and various seminars and trainings.
