provide a user-friendly interface, integrate sources from various online databases and display a unified list of results. When the "full text" filter is selected, they display the full text of licensed and Open Access publications.

Full-text Databases

offer licensed and Open Access full texts, i.e. the entire content of publications.

Specialized - "Abstract Plus" Databases

are focused on a specific scientific field and provide abstracts, registers, interactive tables, unit converters, formula creation tools, etc. In some cases, they also provide access to full texts not only of Open Access publications

Bibliographic - Citation Databases

usually offer mainly bibliographic and bibliometric data about publications, not the full text of the licensed document. Sometimes they provide a link to a specific publication or database with the full text of the given publication.
